Madefromscotland.com is an online marketplace for Scottish designers and makers. I came on board to create a social media marketing plan for the business and to manage their social media channels. I was also responsible for creating content for the blog and writing regular email newsletters. Made From Scotland’s social media channels saw a significant increase in both followers and engagement during my time working with the company. Using social media has been an important part of the website’s success as it has helped to attract new and returning customers, as well as allowing local designers to discover the site and become new clients. The majority of my focus was on organically growing the Twitter and Facebook pages, but I also set up Pinterest, Instagram and Youtube accounts for the brand to help reach a wider audience.
Through working with Made From Scotland, I was also been involved in a number of other tasks, including designing a new logo for the brand, dealing with customer queries, organising blogger outreach and helping to organise a blogger and media event to promote a pop-up shop Made From Scotland were running.
