Once again, this week seems to have been entirely filled with food and drink. Oops. Eating is clearly my only hobby. On Wednesday I headed along to the Redhall Walled Garden for the opening of the new herb garden with Jo Malone. I spent rather a lot of time hovering around the afternoon tea table - it was too good not to have seconds (and thirds and fourths!). The afternoon tea was made by Three Sister Bake, and I'm now trying to dream up an excuse for a party which requires catering because I nnneeeeeddd more of those cakes. Keep your eyes peeled for a post about the garden party soon!

After the event, Laura, Jenn and I met up for a long overdue catch up at The Blackbird. As always, our evening was filled with cocktails, burgers and plenty of gossip. We finished the night off with some desserts and a big pitcher of Pimms. Yum. Then on Thursday evening I made my way to The Filling Station's newly reopened Royal Mile restaurant with some blogging chums. We enjoyed a three course meal (so much foooood) and a couple of cocktails, look out for a post on this soon too.

This weekend it was Lynsey's birthday, so on Saturday evening I headed through to Glasgow to help her celebrate. And by "help her celebrate" what I really mean is Laura and I drank far too much wine then made the last train home with less than a minute to spare because we were on a very important Burger King-related mission. Happy birthday Lynsey! As always, it was lovely to catch up with the Glasgow ladies but my poor little head is not thanking me for all that wine consumption. Is it too early to order a takeaway yet..?

What have you been up to this week?

    1. It's from Vero Moda, although I'm not sure if they'll have it any more as I bought it a couple of years ago and this is the first time I've actually got round to wearing it! x
