Ahhh, is there anything better on a sunny afternoon than an ice cold cocktail? You might have noticed a bottle of Crabbie’s Raspberry Alcoholic Ginger Beer in my recent post about Degustabox, and I thought I’d be creative and make a cocktail with it rather than just drinking it straight from the fridge. I decided to go for a simple Moscow Mule recipe, updated slightly with the addition of the raspberry flavoured ginger beer and some fresh raspberries for good measure too. This cocktail is nice and fruity without being too sickly so it’s perfect for an easy, refreshing summer drink.
You Will Need (Serves 1)
250ml (approx) Crabbie’s Raspberry Alcoholic Ginger Beer*
25ml lime juice
2 lime wedges
1. Add 4 or 5 ice cubes to a highball glass, and add in one measure of vodka.
2. Squeeze the juice of half a lime (approximately 25ml) into the glass.
3. Drop in a couple of lime wedges and a handful of fresh raspberries, and give everything a quick stir.
4. Top up the glass with the Crabbie’s Raspberry Alcoholic Ginger Beer. I used around half of a 500ml bottle for each cocktail.
Super simple, super tasty. Crabbie’s also do a Strawberry & Lime version of their ginger beer which I’m sure would be equally nice in this Moscow Mule style cocktail. Thanks for the treat Degustabox, I’m sure I’ll be drinking lots more of these Crabbie’s cocktails over the summer months!
