I know I say this every time, but this month's mixtape is a bit of a mixed bag. New favourites, old favourites, recent discoveries, forgotten gems, and even a bit of James Blunt. Is it acceptable to admit to liking James Blunt these days? Because I kind of love him. But never fear, there are plenty more obscure bands on April's playlist to make up for it! I stumbled across Good Girl and the Bad Times when I was browsing through Soundcloud earlier this month, and I was instantly sold when I noticed their genre was listed as "gloom pop". YES. Officially now my favourite genre of music, no questions asked.
