I've seen a few ladies, like the lovely Jennie and Alyse, do these "how much is your face worth?" posts lately and I found the idea really interesting. I often don't really pay close attention to how much my makeup costs as I view it as a kind of "necessity" that I have to buy. Obviously I buy cheaper brands if I'm short on pennies, and I will moan if I have to fork out £20+ for a single item, but I will still buy it without hesitation and without properly considering the fact that I don't actually need it. Anyway, here's how much my average daily makeup costs me...

Benefit Boi-ing: £16.50
Benefit Erase Paste: £19.50
Total = £50.29

Lily Lolo Flawless Matte Finishing Powder: £12.49
Total = £37.99

Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil: £13
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara: £10.99
No7 Stay Perfect Trio Eyeshadow: £10 (not pictured)
Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil: £2.99
Total = £42.27

Models Own Lip & Cheek Tint: £6
Chapstick: £1.29
Total = £30.79
Grand Total = £161.34
£161.34 does sound like a lot, but if you think about how many times you would use each product (most of these would last me for over 6 months) it probably works out at only a pound or two per day. Most of my makeup is middle-range in both price and quality but once I'm no longer a student I would like to invest in more high-end products as they are much better quality and usually last longer.
